Now that Spring has sprung, it’s time to get on top of your allergies! With more dust and pollen flying around, it’s no wonder they call it allergy season! For this post, I teamed up with our Nourished Life naturopath Melanie Ruckley to help you combat those annoying symptoms. Through treating your hayfever naturally, you’ll be able to breathe easier and enjoy the warm weather in no time!

Nourished Life Naturopath tips to treating hayfever!

Lower your dairy intake
If you’re experiencing hayfever symptoms, our naturopath recommends trialling a lowered dairy intake. As poor gut health can contribute to allergies, dairy may be aggravating your stomach! To cleanse your digestive system, Melanie recommends Vital All-In-One Superfood Powder (formerly known as Vital Greens Superfood Powder) $32.95.

Take a hair analysis test
To determine the triggers of your hayfever symptoms you can also take a hair analysis test. This test will offer a more personalised insight into how you can treat unwanted symptoms during this time of year.

Keep your laundry clean
As dust and pollen can collect in your clothing, it’s important to ensure they are washed thoroughly! For this our naturopath recommends That Red House Organic Soapberries $16.50. These natural soap berry shells can be placed in your washing machine (inside their wash bag). They’re all natural and ideal for anyone with sensitive skin as they clean without leaving a chemical residue on your clothing.
