Whole Earth & Sea Oil of Oregano is a concentrated essential oil derived from Certified Organic, wild-crafted, Mediterranean Oregano. Oregano is traditionally used to help reduce the symptoms of the common cold and flu.
Also formulated with Vitamin E from non-GMO Sunflower and organic cold-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This potent antioxidant combination has been traditionally used in western herbal medicine to support intestinal and immune system health.
Oregano has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of aromatic herbs. Studies have associated its benefits with the compounds c\arvacrol, thymol, and rosmarinic acid. By working to scavenge free radicals, these key active compounds help counteract oxidation within the body.
To maintain the purity and concentration of its active compounds, the whole herb is gently steam-distilled without the use of chemicals.
