The Eco Max Kitchen Scrubber is an eco-friendly kitchen scrubbing brush made entirely from natural Coconut fibre, which is found in the husks of mature coconuts. This biodegradable brush is designed to reach into and clean all sorts of appliances and utensils, including micro-graters, mesh strainers, chopping boards and even the breadboard.
An ideal alternative to nylon pot scourers, Coconut fibre is antibacterial, resistant to fungus and mould, and doesn't leave scratches on pots and pans, including enamelware, stainless steel and cast iron*. What's more, as Coconut fibre absorbs oil and grease from your dirty dishes instead of accumulating them on the brush surface, there is no transfer of grime to other dishes. Any oil and grease absorbed into the fibres are gradually rinsed away by the warm washing up water.
The Eco Max Kitchen Scrubber will breakdown naturally in compost at the end of its life and the wire remaining can be placed in the recycling bin.
*Eco Max recommend using the gentler Eco Max Nonstick Pan Brush for non-stick cookware.
Australian owned. Handmade in Sri Lanka by a small family-run company that employs mainly underprivileged local women. Certified Vegan, Certified Fair Trade, FSC.
