Cacao is also a rich source of Iron and Magnesium. Magnesium is important for detoxification of the skin while Iron is essential for circulation in the skin and delivering other vitamins, minerals and water to the skin via the blood. Without good circulation, skin will appear dull and sagging. 

Cocoa Butter is the cream-coloured fat extracted from cacao seeds/beans. It is highly moisturising and often recommended to those with conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. When applied to the skin, the butter creates a barrier between the skin and the environment, helping to retain moisture and provide protection.
