What is toxin-free nail polish?
Have you heard of 3, 5 and 7-free nail polishes? There are three particularly questionable ingredients that can be found in most mainstream nail polishes, including Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene and Formaldehyde. If your nail polish is 3-free, that means it is free from those three ingredients. If your nail polish is 5-free, you can count out those three plus Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor, which can often be the cause of that yellow colour you are left with when it's removed. 7-free nail polishes are free from all of these as well as Ethyl Tosylamide and Andxylene.
