Your Guide to Tinted SPF

We all know the importance of shielding our skin from the sun, but I totally understand that sometimes we just want to simplify our daily routines with as little products as possible... after all, as a busy mum I do not always have time for dozens of steps! That is where natural makeup with SPF comes in handy! Thanks to the natural mineral ingredients found in some natural foundations and BB creams, they actually have added SPF. While many of these goodies include SPF, their primary purpose is cosmetic use. They may have added SPF, but of course when spending time outside you should always wear your natural sunscreen underneath, as well as protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses. And don't forget to stay in the shade where possible.

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses® Colour + Correct SPF 30
Another all-time Nourished Life bestseller is the Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses® Colour + Correct SPF 30, a beautiful CC Cream with a natural, flawless finish. Coverage is sheer yet mattifying, designed to simply hydrate the skin and even out tone, with SPF 30+. For more coverage, you can layer your foundation over the top! Available in two shades ’ Sheer Nude for fair-light skin, and Sheer Tan for medium-tanned skin.

Nude By Nature Sheer Glow BB Cream
One of my favourite Nude By Nature products is the Sheer Glow BB Cream, which offers sheer, dewy coverage and feels silky smooth and lightweight on the skin. With SPF 8, it's perfect as an everyday tinted SPF, and is also packed with nourishing goodies like Shea Butter, Desert Date Oil and Kakadu Plum to hydrate and brighten skin and help blur imperfections. La Mav Organic BB Cream

Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF 15
If you prefer the finish of a powder foundation, I recommend the Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF 15. This loose powder is actually water-resistant (perfect for summer!) and is completely oil-free, made only with natural mineral pigments so it's suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types. It's SPF 15 so it's great to pop in your handbag to dust over your existing foundation and maintain your SPF throughout the day. There are actually 18 different shades in this range, from Porcelain to Cinnamon.

Eco Minerals Flawless Foundation
The Eco Minerals Flawless Foundation is another great natural powder foundation with added SPF! The natural mineral pigments in this loose powder offer SPF 25 as well as long-wearing, flawless coverage which can be built up. With a matte finish, this mineral foundation is ideal for those with normal to oily, combination and blemish prone skin types.
