BB Creams

For those days when I want to look put together in a hurry, my go to makeup product is a natural BB cream. There are so many on the mainstream market, like the Garnier BB Cream, which contain ingredients that are potentially harmful to your skin. For a natural and safe alternative, I recommend the 100% Pure BB Creams! They come in three universal shades that combine the moisturising benefits of skincare with the complexion perfecting benefits of foundation. These BB creams may also be ideal for anyone with sensitive skin prone to redness, as it contains soothing ingredients including Coconut Oil and Lavender. Another plus? It contains an SPF 25 to help protect your skin from the sun!

Q10 Face Cream

Coenzyme Q10 is an incredible skincare ingredient that fights free radical damage and boosts your skin’s antioxidant levels. It can also encourage collagen production and increase skin’s elasticity. To receive the benefits of this skincare ingredient, you don’t need to be using chemical based products like the Nivea Q10 creams. My favourite natural alternative is the Lavera Basis Anti-Ageing Moisturising Cream with Q10. It’s perfect for anyone with sensitive or maturing skin and it may help fight off the first signs of ageing and provide a healthy glow to the skin. Lavera also have a matching CoQ10 Night Cream

Paw Paw Ointment

If you’re Australian, chances are you know Lucas’ Paw Paw ointment in that little red tube. Although loved by many, this PawPaw cream is filled with Petroleum Jelly which often contains petrolatum, mineral oil, liquid paraffin or paraffin oil. You don’t want to be putting those ingredients anywhere near your mouth! A natural and safe alternative is the Little Innoscents Organic Paw Paw Balm. Free from Petroleum, this Organic Paw Paw balm may protect and soothe without clogging pores. Made with Beeswax, Calendula and Shea Butter, you can use this balm on damaged lips, cracked hands, sore nipples or nappy rash.

Classic Body Wash

So many soaps on the mainstream market contain artificial ingredients that can strip your skin of its natural oils, leaving it feeling dry. A natural alternative to the classic Dove Beauty Bar soap is the Dr Bronner’s Pure-Castile Bar Soaps. Gradual Tanner

Coming into Winter, the only way to get a natural looking tan is by using a great gradual tanner! To get that glow, you don’t need to be using chemical based tanners like the Dove Summer Glow. An amazing natural alternative is the Eco Tan Winter Skin! Made with cacao, this product builds a chocolate-honey coloured glow over 3-4 applications. It’s perfect for anyone with very light skin because you can control how dark you want the colour to appear. It’s not tinted and dries instantly, so you don’t have to worry about staining your clothes. It’s also streak free and doesn’t have that nasty chemical smell that lingers on your skin. To use, apply several light layers every few days.

It’s made with 100% ingredients including Shea Butter, Eucalyptus Oil and Peppermint Oil which may help clear out congestion. To use, massage onto the chest.
