Harsh chemicals, fragrances, non-hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic ingredients are all common triggers for those with sensitive skin, fortunately, we have a range of incredibly nourishing, gentle and organic skincare products specially formulated for those of you with reactive, sensitive skin.

Here are our top tried and tested products best suited to soothe and nurture sensitive skin.

Cleansers

We love the Lavera 2 in 1 Cleansing Milk and the Pai Camellia and Rose Hydrating Cleanser. Lavera’s cleansing milk gently removes makeup and other impurities with organic almond oil, aloe, jojoba oil & shea butter which are all fantastic for calming irritation.

Pai, the experts on sensitive skin have a beautiful Camellia and Rose hydrating cleanser, which is another great option for those with dry and/or sensitive skin. Again, it removes makeup, dirt, pollution and other impurities whilst replenishing the skin’s moisture barrier with Omega 3 and Vitamins A, B and E. We love that it doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped or tight and that it includes a free exfoliating muslin cloth to aid you in removing dead skin cells!

Moisturiser

Another one from Pai, their Chamomile & Rosehip Calming Day Cream has been a favourite of our customers with sensitive skin. It minimises the risk of irritation while moisturising the skin and calming any existing reactions. Made with CO2 extracts of German chamomile and rosehip, this day cream is super light, calming and restorative. If you struggle with acne or oily skin, Pai's Geranium and Thistle Rebalancing Day Cream is AMAZING.

Exfoliator

We love the gentle brightening scrub & mask by 100% Pure. It gently removes dead skin cells and brightens the skin with natural citrus extracts and we love that you don't even need to scrub, just place on your skin like a mask and gently rinse it off. We recommend using it 1-2 times per week for clear, glowing skin (this is also great for exfoliating dry and cracked lips!)

Facial Oil

Jojoba Oil is naturally a non-hypoallergenic oil, great for nourishing skin, body, hair and nails. It is actually the closest oil there is to your skin's own natural oils!
With a high content of Omega 6 & 9 fatty acids, and Vitamins A, D and E, this oil is a powerful natural moisturiser and anti-ageing serum. However it is recommended to do a test patch if you have acne prone skin.

Body Wash + Lotion

Nothing irritates skin more than soap! Swap to a soap-free body wash or bar that gently cleans the skin without causing dryness or reactions. Look for all all-natural ingredients including extra virgin olive oil that is rich in Vitamin E to gently hydrate the skin and Manuka honey, which is incredibly healing. It is ideal for sensitive and problem skin types and actually improves the resilience of your skin over time!

For body lotion or cream, if your skin is ok with coconut oil, simply use the an Organic Coconut Oil once daily, but if not, try the Lavera Moisturising Body Lotion for Sensitive Skin which contains organic jojoba oil to hydrate the skin and aloe vera to calm inflammation. Plus it has an extremely mild/barely there scent and is non-greasy so you use as many times a day as desired!

If you have sensitive skin and have tried a different product from Nourished Life that have worked for you, please share your recommendations!
