When Sarah Brown created Pai Skincare she had a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve. And if you have sensitive skin, you won’t be disappointed. Sarah has created potent and luxurious certified organic skincare specifically for sensitive skin types! Today we chat about how she started by mixing organic creams in her garage, to now making their new cleansing oil that has been flying off the shelves!

We talk all things green-washing, serums for sensitive skins, alcohol in products, the possibility of keeping alcohol out of serums and about how the term ’anti-ageing" is banned at Pai HQ. Sarah tells me that everyone can get something from using rosehip oil ’ it can be so beneficial for people with all sorts of skin needs. You don’t have to have sensitive skin to use these products, but for those of you who have it, you’re in good hands with Pai.

And listen out for the name of the famous actress who put this brand on the map!

Key points:
™ One of the worst causes of skin ageing is inflammation.
™ Sarah’s night time routine is: Camellia and Rose Hydrating Cleanser, a double cleanse using their Rosehip Cleansing Oil, a spritz with the Rice Plant Tonic, then 3 drops of Rosehip Oil, and finishing with Gentle Eye Cream.
™ When making rosehip oil, Pai use the whole plant. Most rosehip producers just make oil from the seeds inside the hip, but Pai use the hip and all the flesh for maximum potency.
™ When choosing rosehip oil, look for colour and aroma; it should be vivid orange and should smell herbaceous and peppery.
™ ’Sensitive" isn’t actually one single skin type ’ it refers to so many different types of skin with different needs and issues.
