What is the difference between the Night Night Balm and the Sleep Balm?
Wondering which will work best for you? Well for adults struggling to nod off to sleep, the Badger Sleep Balm works best. For kids with active minds however, the Badger Night Night Balm is ideal. The two balms have different active ingredients that are specifically tailored for either kids or adults. The Sleep Balm is formulated to promote clear thinking and relaxation, using natural ingredients including Balsam Fir and Bergamot. These ingredients are also known to uplift your mood, without stimulating your mind! The Night Night Balm on the other hand, contains more traditional ingredients including Lavender and Chamomile. This combination blended with Spearmint and Mandarin is ultra soothing and perfect for kids.
Can the Sleep Balm be used on babies and vice versa?
Absolutely! Although each balm was formulated with different age groups in mind, if you find that one works better for you or your kids, go for it! Both balms can be used by any member of the family! Often people find that using the Night Night Balm at work is actually very effective at achieving relaxation.
Do these balms contain any drugs?
Not at all, these beautiful balms do not contain any chemicals or drugs! They are simply a blend of relaxing, essential oils that encourages a calm mind. Without the use of drugs, there is no way that you can become dependant on these natural balms to get to sleep!
How do I prevent the scent from fading?
Naturally, the Night Night Balm has a milder scent than the Sleep Balm. To ensure the the balms retain their gorgeous scent, keep the lids shut tightly after use.
At what age can you start using the Night Night Balm on babies?
Night Night Balm is the best choice for young children as it can be used for babies 6 months and older. It’s not only great for soothing them to sleep, it can work as a moisturising massage oil as it’s made with a blend of Organic Olive Oil! For babies younger than six months, I recommend using the Badger Baby Balm before switching over to the Night Night Balm.
Where is the best place to apply these balms?
Using aromatherapy principles, these balms can be applied to any areas of the body where you can smell their scent. I recommend on the lips, chest, wrists, shoulders, temples or under the nose. Any other pulse points are great too! You can even apply them to your stomach or feet which enables the scent to diffuse. For a relaxing night time routine, try using the Night Night Balm on your kids as a massage balm!
